SkyUmbreon 01/24/21 9:43:26 PM #1:	I'm a goddamn animal who, when it comes to steaks, I rush it. I make other fancy meals, but I buy super thin cuts of steak, put some salt and pepper, and then fry 'em until they're done (usually well-done because they're so thin). But today, I decided "Okay, let me stop fucking up steak because I can't be assed to do it right." So I bought actual decent cuts. I rubbed salt on that steak and let it sit for a bit. I basted it with butter and put aromatics in the pan. I actually checked on the temperature consistently and formed a crust. That shit was delicious. It wasn't perfect. I added too much salt and got medium-well instead of the medium I was aiming for (I know, I know, but I wasn't feeling a medium-rare). But even then, it was soft, and tasty. Had it with some rice and spinach. Wanted to fry an egg as well but I had eggs for breakfast so I wanted to slow down a bit.
