At least it fully embraced the action-game side of it instead of trying to do an awkward half-measure like RE5. Being able to move while aiming and having more movement options is better when the game expects you to take down literally hundreds of enemies. RE4 towed the line and had a nice balance, honestly. Slogging through the different campaigns makes it overstay it's welcome even more.
