I think the other thing that's annoying (to me at least) is that this is possibly going to be the last movie in the MonsterVerse and there's a lot of lore they've brought up that's just like...never going to be touched again.

You know actually (remembering a scene from King of the Monsters), I wonder if Godzilla and Kong fight simply because one of them just has to be the "alpha". That's like the entire idea behind KotM and knowing that there are ancient cave paintings depicting a (the?) Godzilla kaiju fighting one of Kong's species meaning it's happened multiple times I suppose it could make sense.

But I guess we'll wait.

I think the story will be like king of monster. The human feel threatened by godzilla because they can't kill him even with nuke. Last time they try use king ghidorah and fail. They thought king ghidorah will kill godzilla. Now the try to use kong but like the trailer said kong don't obey to anyone. Last I think us army build mechagodzilla to kill both monster

No Ghidorah was awakened because that one dude wanted to awaken all the kaiju to wipe out a ton of humanity so the world would "heal". He and the woman and their group didn't know Ghidorah was actually an alien that wanted to just wipe out everything on earth completely until it was too late.

yes Godzilla has light beams, breathes fireballs, has claws, and can recharge with atomic energy and can breathe and fight underwater.

To be fair King Kong does use tools in ridiculous ways. Like helicopter propellers as flails. He would still lose but he could put up a fight if he's clever.

So did they shrink Godzilla or make Kong grow? Because based on KOTM and Skull Island Godzilla should be 3x taller than Kong but I kind of feel like they made Godzilla shorter.

Also Idk if its the horrible rap song and cheesy trailer but not really feeling this one, and I'm someone who really liked both Godzilla 2014 and KOTM.

Skull Island too place during the Vietnam War. And I think they said he was still growing. This is now him at full size

Kong was created 20+ years before Godzilla.

In the first movie, in Japan you hear Godzilla roar at the end, implying he won, and in the states they had Kong roar at the end, Implying he won.

No, in Japan, they both roar at the end, even though Godzilla is submerged and unseen, implying he will return. Still, in both versions, Kong is considered the winner.
