I assume it takes place during P3, meaning P4 (and presumably P5) won't even have started yet, but I've heard that there might be some suggestion of timey-wimey shennanigans and possible 'foreshadowing' of the events of later main games.
So is it safe to play P3 Dancing before finishing 4 and 5? --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil ... Copied to Clipboard!

I feel like I heard P3D doesnt even have a story mode so what could it possibly spoil if thats true

I haven't completed all the conversations which make up the story, but P3D and P5D are happening at the same time while P4D happened before them. P3D and P5D are mostly in a bubble. The most reference to the other games make to each other are via the Velvet Room assistants referencing each other because they are in a sibling rivalry.
I probably wouldn't recommend playing a dancing game before playing its base game, though. --- snowpork azuarc is OP. ... Copied to Clipboard!
