to convict through impeachment?
If GOP is afraid of Trump creating his own third party and running in 2024, wouldn't convicting him prevent that from happening? Sure, MAGA voters may be angry at the GOP for convicting, but we all know that in 4 years they will fall in line and continue voting for whoever the next person that runs for President from the GOP is.
