Yes just like kids cost quite a bit more than that, kind of like cars costing quite a bit more than the couple hundred dollars he was bitching about not getting.
They already get tax credits for that

The earned income tax credit is being expanded for childless adults. So childless people are getting something. Please move on

Would this not come back to bite us in the ass later? Giving out that much?

I'm legit asking. I'm not very knowledgeable about economics

Possibly, but austerity is for the good times.

I'm not asking about Canada though

I'm asking what would happen in the US

Edit: this sounds more rude than I intended it to be

Basically nothing for the next couple years, really, apart from republicans finally feigning concern about deficits again.
If the house flips in 2022, expect debt ceiling fights.

The government exists to help people who need it. I bet you're also a trumper who's anti abortion and BC.

"i bEt U r A tRuMpEr"

Swing and a miss, hotshot. You are wrong about literally everything there, I'm sure you're used to that though.

But hey, the fact you think $15k is not a disgustingly exorbitant amount of money for a month of raising kids speaks volumes to multiple facets of your life.

I just meant that other countries have done it without it biting them in the ass. I don't see why it would here

the fact that you think anyone would get 15k in a month speaks to how dumb you are.

We'll be fine because it'll go straight back into the economy. It's better giving money to the people because it will always circulate into the economy. It's way better than what we've been doing giving trillions to large corporations only for them to pocket it and continue to layoff workers.
