Why? I've been noticing this for a few years. About 70% of the time, without fail, I will have a pair of consecutive numbers (31, 32), (56, 57), etc. The other 20% will be (32, 34), (56, 58). And 10% will just be random numbers that are several digits apart.
Has anyone noticed this? I don't necessarily think it's an issue because some winning numbers are consecutive. But I find it odd that it seems to do this so often. Statistically, it doesn't make sense to always usually be getting consecutive numbers. --- "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr Seuss ... Winner IS ALWAYS the Machine, your random numbers will never win it It's about 70% machine and 30% picking your own. However, more people pick their numbers than they choose their own. According to this site, it's about 50/50 when taking that into consideration: https://www.thebalanceeveryday.com/should-you-use-quick-pick-when-playing-the-lottery-4175627 --- "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr Seuss ... Humans are terrible at perceiving randomness. I don't see how it can be random if I always seem to get consecutive numbers. It's not like there's only 20 or 30 numbers to chose from. I think it goes up to like 70. --- "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." - Dr Seuss ... Copied to Clipboard!
