Money has always been a concept to give a relative value to ensure even bartering. It'd be nice to have a single worldwide currency. It'd make everything so much easier.

This is literally one of the things people have been talking about for years man. It started with the Euro, then there was talk of the American Union, which would spawn the Amero, and then other unions would follow, before becoming one giant union. It's not even conversion fees. It's the general account fees that boggles my mind.
It cost me $3 to get money out of an atm when all that required was an algorithm shuffling a few bits? It takes a second for any transaction to come out of my account, but it takes a week for any charge back to drop back in? Banks are kind of bullshit really. --- http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u260/luciferxsage/LxSsigFinal.png pigs we get what pigs deserve... -|\| | |/| ... Copied to Clipboard!

I want to tell you to take money out of your own bank, to save on those fees (which are higher than youre claiming) but I honestly dont believe that the banks banks dont have ATMs placed in such a way. To clarify the brackets: The $3.50 is just the fee youre paying the owner of that ATM (which is not your banks ATM your banks ATM wont charge you any fee) to withdraw the cash. Your bank then charges you a fee on top of that, essentially for using an ATM that isnt theirs. The ATM wont tell you this because its not your banks ATM and isnt required to. Youre actually spending $5.00 or more to use an ATM that doesnt belong to your bank. --- C was right. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I had the shittiest time trying to convert Lao kip in Bankok. Jesus Christ, it took me like two days to find a bank that'd take it. Didn't exchange it at the border since usually border sellers are rip-off artists. Turns out you should convert your Lao kip at the border going into Thailand lol.

There are all kinds of obvious logistical issues with that idea. It actually makes things so much harder for nations and governments. The best example we can see of this is Italy dropping the lira in favour of the euro. The way they would shift the lira around to stabilize the economy was ended when they adopted a shared currency because they had basically no control over it and they've been having issues since. Not to say none existed prior, but it made it more challenging for them to swiftly adapt in a way that had worked in the past. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah. AND it was totally within our power to decline that transaction based on basic math, but we chose not to so we could make another $35 in fees. The only reason you were short that .02 was that we held a stack of small fees and dropped them like a bomb all at once when we saw your account was getting a little low because fuck you, that's why. --- http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u260/luciferxsage/LxSsigFinal.png pigs we get what pigs deserve... -|\| | |/| ...
