49 y/o Stephen O'Loughlin, an investment firm VP who was described as a MENTALLY ILL ANTI-VAXXER obsessed with government MIND CONTROL has MURDERED his 9 y/o SON and Killed HIMSELF amid a legal battle with his ex wife, who wanted to VACCINATE him!!

They were found dead with gunshot wounds in his apartment in San Francisco by police who were doing a welfare check by the request of his mother

41 y/o Lesley Hu called police after learning her son filed to show up to class at Convent & Stuart Hall, his 35,000 a year Catholic School

O'Loughlin served as regional vice president at LoCorr Funds, an investment management company HQ in Minnesota

His ex-wife divorced him in 2016 and was promoted to executive VP at Waterfront Global, a container supplier where she worked for more than 15 years

They were locked in a bitter custody battle around their son's healthcare

Her lawyer, Lorie Nachlis said O'Loughlin had mental illness and was paranoid over vaccinations and his son's health

She was seking sole custody and was going to make the medical decisions on his behalf without his interference as she told him she would vaccinate her son with a flu vaccine

He agreed to it at first when suddenly the shocking murder-suicide happened

He had joined a new age self help group in 2012 and beccame convinced that government was using mind control on Americans and paid into the group by the THOUSANDS

He refused to allow his son to be vaccinated at a young age claiming he was vaccine injured and suffered serious side efffects as a baby including vomiting and weight loss

His lawyer said "This is not an anti-vax parent seeking to prevent his child from being vaccinated. For the average child, the risk to benefit ratio for the vaccines is in favour of vaccinations. For a certain subset of society, however, tha tis not the case. Pierce is one of those people"

Hu denied his claims and argued his doctors strongly recommended it to be vully vaccinated and his stance on it turned into a cult like turn

He became so consumed with it that he would videotape his breathing several times a day to document "stuffy nose"

Lorie Nachlis, his attorney pushed back on that narrative that being anti-vax was the only reason for the suicide murder as they disagred on other issues as well but more complex reasons

Hu said her husabnd carried out the murder because he was losing control, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic where mandatory vaccinations were in talks as that pushed him over the edge

I can't let my kid get vaccinated because there could be adverse reactions, so instead I will just kill him.

Once again I think this is a sign that we need to do a better job helping the mentally ill. People with mental illness can appear fine until they aren't, and sadly this looks to be something like that.

I remember wrecking these dudes at sports. Wonder if their programs got better.

But really this sucks. They had a promising rare dream of a very well funded lifestyle of raising a family in San Francisco but that "dad" went to shit.
