Cancel culture is good when people I dont like or dont care about get cancelled, but when people I do like get cancelled its bad and people are being unfair and what they said or did was misunderstood.

It doesn't need to die 100% because there's still some shit people out there who really do deserve their punishment to the full extent. Their justice should apply mainly to actual serious and heinous offenses like rape, murder, scamming, and drugging people, and proven with empirical evidence.

The main problem I have with it is that it's devolved to the point where people will go on a witch hunt to destroy some poor guy who once tweeted something that might be considered offensive if you take it out of context like a decade ago.
