Same, I have Danault as one of my centers, but I drafted Wings heavy and have all 3 from their first line. It's a pay league too, I always go homer though and draft the guys I like over the guys who will score more.

Yall seen that report about the Mets GM? I can see being cooped up in a hotel one night and being horny leads you to a bad night of judgment and you send embarrassing and regrettable texts. Not that that would excuse his actions or make it right, but I can at least understand how someone has a bad night and does something like that. While he had money, I dont think he was quite "rich" yet, think he was still just a scout at the time, I havent looked at what his salary was or if this was before or after the Cubs won the WS when he started actually getting looks.

So idk if it was entitlement because of money. But it was still entitlement because she was a reporter and he thought he could give her material for stories in exchange for emptying his balls apparently and then when she didn't go for it he couldn't handle it. At least that's how I interpret it, not that the minute details changes how scummy it is.

I passed up a free bottle of Laphroaig Scotch the other day.

Long story short. I tapped the bottle with my foot, and it hit something that sheered of the bottom of the bottle.

I didn't want the broken glass in my house, so the next day I was going to trough it out at work.
On my way in my boss was chillin in his car with his gal, and I showed him the broken bottle.
He suggested that I say it was a defect and consider it a return.

Me being the honest dumb ass I am opted out.
I think he appreciated that, but said he would get me something later.

For the record, I was borderline alone that night because people were out for Carona shit.
Literally pulling some last man standing shit.

~I should have gone the free bottle route.

I did pick up a US smoky Bourbon though, and as well as an Ocean Aged bourbon.

In hs I knew people who would go in with older siblings on a bottle, break it with the cap intact, then strain the liquor into another bottle and return the broken ones top for another bottle.

Apparently that's a thing you can do.

I once dropped whiskey just outside the door to the liquor store and an employee on their smoke break saw it and told me dont worry someone would clean it up and I could go get another one so I guess it really works still...

But you'd think theyd question it if it was a half hour later.

Years ago when I worked at Staples, I was good friends the Copy Center manager. At the copy center you can ship packages through UPS. This one person dropped off a package to ship containing 6 bottles of wine. Also didn't leave a return address. Copy Center can't mail alcohol and they couldn't dispose of it so the box just sat under a table for over a year. Him and I snuck it out and the end of the night and split the bottles.
