Finally got a crit rate cryo headpiece. Now I can go farm Noble to get a feather and a Cryo pot

Crit rate cryo headpiece is pretty much worthless the set bonus already gives 40% crit

4 pieces is a waste. With it I'd have like 140% crit rate

Ganyu already gets 20% on her own and with Qiqi it's 15% more

I wish crit worked in this game like how it does in warframe, where if you have over 100% crit, you can "double" crit. As in, if you have 125% crit, you are guaranteed to crit once, then a 25% chance to enhance the crit at a higher level of damage

Once I get a decent crit damage on a feather and pot and finish upgrading my Blackcliff Warbow I'll have like 180% crit damage. I don't remember the bow's crit damage. I don't feel like min maxing past that.

Or in some games I've played they merely had it so the damage of the crit raised because it resolved overflow issues.

Troupe is better for support if I just wanna keep cast time up, right? Oh, I have the viridian whatever bow from the battle pass, forgot about that. So yeah, infinite freeze time it is. Meaning... Well, time to farm boss components, I needed to do that anyways.

For Maindps Ganyu, Troupe is the highest damage. For a support Ganyu, you can use 2 Cryo 2 Noblesse

Wanderer for melt setup (recommended crit weapon for damage). They're very hard to get.
Blizzard for freeze setup (recommended ATK/CritDMG weapon for damage). They're pretty easy to get.

Melt setups have a higher ceiling and I hear they have the potential to far surpass Diluc and Klee by a lot in the future, but Ganyu doesn't have any effective pyro support characters yet. You'll need to make up for the missing critrate on your own, so a lot of critrate from weapon and artifact set recommended.

Freeze setups don't work on enemies who have their own debuff (coz you need wet or cryo to be on the enemy) and I hear optimally they're about similar to Diluc. Benefit is enemies don't move letting you hit them easily, tho the twitch movement post-freeze might screw you over. I highly recommend speccing into as much critdmg (and ATK% if available) as you can, but it's best if you get over 30% critrate from substats and use critdmg on main stat. You should not depend on the 4set, because if the enemy is for example a pyro slime or electro slime, the 4set will never activate. On the other hand if they're hydro, or if you apply your own cryo to them, your attacks will almost guaranteed crit them, leading to incredible consistent damage.

For shits and giggles I used my best food and a team of
Sucrose (c2)
Xiangling (c6)
Beidou (c6)
Xinyan (c4)
All with elemental bursts ready to go and well... XD yeah, didn't even do the right order but I destroyed the cryo regisvine in under 22 seconds. Time started with the moment I started my plunging attack from above.

huh was gonna ignore this but its real fast. Only took a min for first day at least. Needs consecutive log in days to get the currency for primos

Electro dmg goblet looks like a keeper if the 4th stat revealed is very good. Goblets are extremely rare, so it doesn't matter what set it is, it doesn't matter if substats are only average, if it's usable, you keep it.
Circlet can become very good with 5 lucky upgrades into ATK, but I guess you need crit stats?

Crit scales better than attack but the goblet is a keeper regardless because it's electro dmg Goblet on electro set so that frees up a flex spot to get a really strong off set artifact like a perfect roll sands.

Some story quests lock you out of co-op until you can complete them so you might have to finally finish it.

i tried the game out today.

i liked it for it's visuals and whatnot but as i was playing it, i couldn't help but noticed some similarities with Breath of the Wild but i'm sure that's been pointed out before. lol
