My girlfriend and I pull up to the Chick-fil-A parking lot. She ends up pulling into a handicap spot because she needs to flip around. As we pull into the spot, this old lady sitting in her car is staring dead at me. I look away. Then I look back and she is still staring at me with no expression. This time I don't break eye contact. A full 5 seconds pass and it gets awkward so I mouth the words "hello." The old lady smiles widely and waves happily at me. So I smile and wave back. Meanwhile, my girlfriend turns to me and is wondering why the hell me and an old lady are waving at eachother.
