Sleeping was easy with somebody else cuddling with you. I brought her flowers sometimes, and she had a soft spot for oreos and swedish fish (but not both at the same time, blech), she enjoyed when things tasted medicinal, and she always had horehound drops or similar candy on her. She was flowery, and enjoyed feeling small. I used to pick her up and toss her onto the bed, jumping on next to her a few seconds later, both of us falling into gales of laughter. She made me feel loved for the first time, and I would wake up next to her, and see her eyes flutter open. "Good morning, Panda!", she would say, her sleepy smile being the reason for my continued existence, setting me on a path for a good day just by existing. We turned a barren student apartment into a home with a window herb garden. We ate whatever she cooked, which ranged from pizza to curry to mabotofu to anything Szechuan. She loved me, and I loved her. It was simple. We shopped together, we laughed, we indulged each other's wildest fantasies, and supported one another as we each chased our dreams. She had a lot of bad mental health days. I was there for most of them, and it will always be my biggest regret that I wasn't there for her last month of existence.
