Where would we get it? Would there be a cocaine and heroin dispensary? There isnt one in Portland (or whichever place just legalized everything), and they buy it from street dealers. That creates power vacuums in the criminal underworld which creates mountains of bullshit for the police to deal with. This increases the number of overdoses to a point that the hospitals cannot handle it.

In a nutshell, you would have a police force and a medical system that was spending 90% of their time dealing with junkies, so the service you would receive is subpar.

The only illegal drug that needs to be legalized is pot. Remove it from all drug test panels by federal law. Make it illegal for any workplace or court to test for it.

Whats wrong with removing marijuana from drug test panels? Some of the brightest minds are flipping burgers because theyre discriminated against in the workforce. People can drink themselves stupid the night before work and you can take pain medicine that would knock out a horse, but I cant smoke marijuana in my free time?

If you binge drink the night before work, youve definitely been at work still drunk (so many DWIs are issued in the early morning because someone is drunk when they think theyre hung over). Going to bed isnt a 100% guarantee youre sober.

Bad comparison. If you drink and drive you get a DUI and if you drink and go to work you will get fired. If you want to do it in your free time by all means do so.

Im saying that if drinking in your free time is okay, then theres literally no argument for discriminating against marijuana users.
