I think it was shown on like the last day before the holiday break. about an hour or so into the movie they let everyone go out for recess or something. I was the only kid to stay behind and finish the movie <_< Then I saw the 2005 movie. I didn't like it and honestly was one of the most stark examples of being really let down as a kid (though I was 12) I read the novel at some point though I don't remember if that was before or after seeing the 2005 movie --- The name is wackyteen for a reason. CommonGrackle 01/14/21 10:33:09 AM #5:	read the novel (or novella; it's actually pretty short), saw both movies the novel is a bit creepy because the aliens actually use this scary black poison gas to kill most people whereas the heat ray or whatever Welles called it was a more of a close range weapon. the radio show in 1938 mentions this, but we don't see it in the movies probably because it'd be too graphic. <cite>CommonGrackle posted [p:949490870] in Have you s... Check out the short film Zygote (youtube), it's pretty cool -if- you're into that kind of thing. Her sister Elle is pretty bad ass too.
