Most relationships now start online where your "personality" is just three sentences and a few smiling pictures. To actually get a sense for someone's personality, you have to right swipe on them and have a conversation. Then you have to meet the person.
Women get infinite matches if they consistently swipe right so infinite opportunities to demonstrate their personalities. A woman can be interesting, funny, confident, direct, charming, sexy, and she can show it.
She can swipe right 100 times in a row then message 50 of those men, "Hey you seem interesting, and I'd like to get to know you. But I find talking on dating apps kind of stale and boring. There's a coffee shop by my place at ___. Wanna meet there this Saturday at 1 PM and chat to see how we click?"
She could line up at least 20 dates that way out of one day's work. All of those will be more opportunities to show her personality.
The same applies for good looking men. They get hundreds of matches as well so hundreds of opportunities to do the same. Just like with women, their personalities matter.
But if you are not in those two categories, your personality won't matter, because you will get few to no opportunities to demonstrate it. If a tree falls in the woods and no one hears it, does it make a sound? You can have the best personality in the world, but if you are like most men and get 1-2 likes a week or per month who don't reply or aren't actually interested, it won't make a difference.
You need to have someone who cares enough to talk to you and get to know you for your personality to matter. And for most men in online dating that isn't happening.
So if you want to question if your personality is the issue, ask yourself which of these camps you belong to and it will likely tell you. Are you getting loads of likes/matches/dates and THEN they are dumping you? Then perhaps it is your personality. If you're like most men though, that's not what you're experiencing and that's not the issue.
