There's a risk of salmonella, but you just wash the egg shell first. The yolk itself should be sterile, I think

Depends. Personally, I have several raw egg whites a day for many years now, never got sick from it.

1 in every 20,000 eggs has salmonella.

Are you feeling lucky, punk. Are you.

kinda, yeah

the eggs i have on-hand are organic, does that have anything to do with the pasteurization process

https://ask.usda.gov/s/article/Are-all-egg-products-pasteurized

this says "all egg products are pasteurized"

products

does that mean shit like instant-egg or baking stuff or whatever that is made with egg? I want it to say "all eggs are pasteurized" without the products

If it's an alcoholic cocktail, then, y'know, the alcohol will likely sterilize it.

Well at least egg products implies all eggs, too - in addition to egg products.

Just egg products would imply not the eggs themselves.
Does it though? Like when I read "egg product" I think of stuff like this:

Japan eliminated the risk of it, you can eat raw eggs there all day every day.
