363 euros (about $440), for a drawing of my fursona having sex with a Charizard, from a really popular artist named Redraptor (popular enough that he raffles off his commission slots so I was lucky to even have the opportunity)

The image size is 7493 x 5226 pixels. There's a lot of fine detail.

Also there's two separate versions, with and without an inset showing an internal view of... uh, what's going on, so that added to the price a little too.

1. People with "working class" upbringings probably don't have the luxury of spending enough time on the internet to acquire the brain poisoning you need to become a furry.

I think its more like thats their exclusive passion and so the vast majority of expendable income goes to that one thing.

If I didnt love bmx, mountain biking, beer, video games, weed, and guitars and put all that money into furry art and fur suits I could spend a lot on that stuff too. I mean I still wouldn't but I could.

I think it's more that you're just more likely to see the ones with money (or their output). It's easy to point out a guy in a fursuit and say "that's a furry," but the flurries who can't afford that stuff are less visible.
