Doom Eternal was a big jump up from 2016 IMO and in a good way.

I got through most encounters without dying but I was low on health and frantically blood punching / glory killing / dashing all over the place just to stay alive. --- The Legend is True! ... I tried Eternal on gamepass. Didn't like it. Not how I'm used to my fps games playing lol.

I promise you that if you use DOOM Eternal fighting mechanics in DOOM (2016) you absolutely shred everything with ease because 2016 doesnt have balance. The enemies spawn arent perfectly chosen to cause you the most pain. You dont even need to use all of your weapons/tools.
