Move in together. As I said before we both want to, but its not and easy thing considering. He has been in queue for 17 years for apparments so he can get appartments to rent.

If we did, it would be a big change in our lives.

Also a sidenote he has apparently come out like 1,5 years ago to a not so close friend his age that he knows for 10 years. He mustve forgot to tell me about it.

How long have you been dating tc?

My husband and I met and moved in together 3 months after that.
Needless to say, almost 16 years later, he's sitting next to me right now.

We met in April 2014. I know this is slow for a relationship maybe.

Also that sounds nice :)

Wow, you guys are taking it super slow.
What's prevented you both from moving in together sooner?
My husband is my best friend so we could be doing absolutely nothing but still be having the best time together. We're not the perfect gay couple but we genuinely do love each other.

Well prob a mix of a lot of reasons. My first ever relationship, his first with a guy like this, the age difference, not completly out, commitment issues (at first) etc. I dunno, we never had any intention to this I think. We met as a random hookup and we became fuck buddies, friends etc.

I see.
My hubby and I met as friends after his breakup. So I was supposed to be like a rebound I guess. I never thought he was attracted to me but I really liked him so I would make myself available so he could talk and vent about his ex.

Circumstances lead to us randomly getting so close, that soon. We went on a road trip to Mississippi to see his grandmother and ended up getting caught out there during hurricane Katrina.

That lead to us moving out there for a few months with my aunt as we realized we wanted to be together and needed a change of space from somewhere where we had a lot of history with other guys etc.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to move in so soon together like we did as we got lucky that we were the right people for each other. However, after 6 years of dating, you should be both on the same page and more assured about your prospects together.

Glad things worked out for you :).

Tho it took few years of being friends, fbs, doing stuff like travelling together before we started to feel like in a romantic relationship.

There was even a few month break where I tried to get into a relationship with an other man because he wasnt ready for anything like that and I wanted to try it out, but that failed which Im so glad it did. This happened in 2017.

To rent. Its like 25y waiting time to get good appartments in Stockholm (close to the center etc)

Obviously you can find a place in many other ways, second hand renting etc but those are expensive as fuck
