Scarecrow17 01/06/21 9:49:13 PM #1:	While the game is gorgeous to look at, it's probably one of my least favorite Souls game. Many of the bosses felt like gimmick fights and were very easy. Storm King and Old Hero are cool but not very fun to fight if you can call it a fight. Traversing some of the areas becomes tedious if you end up dying since the archstones are only present at the very beginning of the zone. It's also a very short game. I finished my run in 18 hours while the other Souls games took at least 30+ hours. I may just go for the platinum since the game is so short. I also want to point out that some of the music changes were disappointing especially Maiden Astraea. I didn't play the original Demon's Souls on PS3 but I knew of the music and Maiden Astraea's theme was my favorite by far. The new version isn't terrible but it didn't surpass the original. My own personal ranking for this series as of right now is: Bloodborne > Dark Souls > Dark Souls 3 > Demon's Souls > Dark Souls 2 If Sekiro counts, it would go between Bloodborne and Dark Souls. Still have no idea why its always put on such a high pedestal especially compared to the other Souls games. I guess its just the classic first/original is always the best elitist gamer mentality you always see everywhere all the time. I would personally rank the series as: Dark Souls 1 > Bloodborne > Dark Souls 2 > Demons Souls I never finished Dark Souls 3 but I plan to one day, and I liked what I played of it.
