Been a health care provider since 2004, yeah money wasn't much of a problem when I still lived at home, but now when I'm in my own appartment etc it's just not viable with my pay. I have shit pay despite getting a good raise (compared to others) many years in a row.

Things are too expensive and my pay is fucking shit, especially considering what I do. I remember few years ago I talked about my pay here, and someone here on CE calculated in inflation whatever etc, that I had gotten maybe a 1% raise in context.

I need to change my career.

EDIT: I mean yeah I'm not homeless or without food, and I can save up on stuff, but to have a standard of living to be able to have some fun and good things, nice stuff etc, it's not viable.

Ya, living paycheque to paycheque sucks.

If you're smart though you can always save money.

How much money did you save while living at home.

Most people live with roomates or significant others to help with the costs.

Company is my municipality. And pretty much yes, the whole proffesion. I could continue my registered nursing program in university but the normal starting pay for them is even lower than what I have now, tho they have the potential to get much better pay but that depends entirely on where you work and a bit of luck and hard work.

I am trying to be smarter. And I have done plenty smart choices, but right now it's feeling like a burden since I have so many things I kinda need to fix. My car, my PC, my TV is starting to break down, my phone etc. Things are piling up. And I HATE taking loans so I try to avoid that as much as possible. Only loans I have atm is my student loan, car and a small sum of my bed.

Ya, I am complete with you on loans.
I do my best to live within my means.
Even if it mean I have to live with some hardship.
And ya, RIP your 9-3. :-(

I wasn't smart with money when I lived at home, kinda have to blame that on my parents a bit but I was an adult when I lived with them I should've not been such an idiot, so I am to blame I know, but I also didn't really understand stuff like this.

We don't have a roommate culture in Sweden, it happens but it's not normal. Moving in with my BF would make things considerably easier for both of us with the economy, but I dunno if we are ready for that kind of commitment, he might be more ready than me I dunno.

And btw, I'm not depressed about this or anything, in fact I never been this happy and this is a new experience and something that will just develope me even more. What I mostly complaining is how shitty our pay is considering what we are doing, I always knew it was a shit pay but never understood how bad it was until I started living on my own.
