They probably think that anyone who dies while having Covid is counted as a Covid death. Just so hospitals can receive extra funds or some other nonsense

They believe that these three hundred thousand Covid related deaths are actually deaths from the other diseases, or cancer or heart attacks that are being reported as Covid deaths. Even though this would be easy to prove. Easy to prove that these are not new deaths that wouldn't have happened if Covid wasn't around.

My ex's cousin is one of those people. She "knows someone" who died in an auto accident but since they had covid when they died it was listed on the death certificate to "artificially inflate the numbers"

What do Holocaust deniers think happened to those 10 million or so people? They think they never existed in the first place, for the most part. The numbers are fake, made up, whatever.

I don't know/can't see/don't have firsthand experience that 350,000+ people have died; therefore it didn't happen.

I saw someone talk about Covid in terms of "years of life lost" to argue Covid was BS.

The idea being if you are expected to live until 80 and Covid kills you at 82 there were 0 years of life lost. So you look at something like colon cancer which kills someone at an average age of 40 (making this number up as an example) for every colon cancer death you have 40 years of life lost, making colon cancer a big fucking deal.

He argued this is a much better way to evaluate how impactful a disease is. More years of life lost more to worry about.

He then pointed out that the average age of death of a Covid patient is greater than life expectancy. This is a 0 or negative years of life lost result. Conclusion: Covid is bullshit.

Now I didn't do any research to validate this guy's assertions, but assuming the numbers checkout, that would be a reasonable thinking one could use to dismiss Covid.
