I was modded for spoiler without warning on the Television board for posting something that happened 6 weeks earlier on a soap opera my mom watched. Don't remember exactly what it was, but it was something regarding an actor who had just died in real life, so it was probably that he just so happened to have been killed off the show or something right before dying in real life. I tried contesting it, saying it aired weeks ago, but the mod said people may not have seen it yet. I guess I agree if it was something big, but it was a soap opera with no reruns and this was way before online streaming.

It was a 3 karma loss notification, the only time I've ever lost karma in my 18+ years on gamefaqs. That's why its so memorable for me.

I once got modded for saying one of my units died in Fire Emblem, as unmarked spoilers.

At no point does anyone who knows who Ganondorf is ever get the idea that Ganondorf is not in the game. And then you have multiple encounters with him. Some even before the halfway point. How the fuck is it a spoiler that Ganondorf is in Wind Waker?!

Sounds like he was confusing it with Twilight Princess? I assume the moderation was upheld?

You cant dispute it, because you literally were not moderated. You just received a reminder to use the community flair which was fixed for you when you received the notice. This isnt something that gets held against you, and the post hasnt been deleted

Well thanks for the explanation, but I came to this conclusion myself like 10 minutes after making this topic (see post #3).

Anyway, I can't think of any flair that'd actually apply there even if I wanted to use one. Community is such a broad thing you could use it for basically anything, which defeats the purpose of the flair, no?
