I have literally no one in my friends group who is even remotely interested. It saddens me. Being a solo rat is painful, scary, clenching fear just to escape with bolts and milk. If anyone plays we should link up some time. Have a mic, and we just got a wipe too.

Stress is beyond killer playing solo man. It's definitely a team game.

I'm not entirely sure that'll happen. It uses almost every key on the keyboard for some kind of function and leans heavily towards simulation rather than game. Hell, it even has layered macros -- Shift + numerous functions too. Controller wouldn't fit it all.

It's good, but it's intense. You only get one life. You spawn into a map and need to complete a balance of quests (that you pick up from traders on the main menu), pvp, pve, looting and escaping. However, it isn't a battle royale. You can go into a map, farm a route you like, and extract if you like without firing a bullet.

When you die, all the gear on you is lost. You can insure it and when the match ends you could potentially get that gear back... if only another player didn't steal it off your body.

Looting funds building up your home base which can generate passive income, bonuses, crafting options, etc. You can also dump your loot into a player driven economy and, also, buy gear for your raids from the same place.

Almost all weapons are ridiculously customizable. Stocks, trigger guards, muzzles, barrels, you name it. Dozens of ammo types with different values, and so on. It's a very complex game but I enjoy it a lot. It's scarier than most horror games, tbh.
