Darmik 01/03/21 9:07:03 PM #1:	Hitman 2016 was an episodic release that sold way under expectations. Square-Enix wanted to get rid of IO Interactive over it. Somehow IO Interactive managed to keep the IP and go independent. As far as I'm aware this has never happened before or since. They still managed to get Hitman 2 out in 2018 with WB Games despite all of this happening. I don't think this sold well either. WB Games isn't back for the third game Now they're about to release Hitman 3 as a totally independent studio. Again just over 2 years after Hitman 2. On top of that they're again remastering the old levels and also developing VR versions. All for free if you already own them. They also managed to gain the 007 franchise recently. Like its a miracle they survived all of this never mind actually getting these games all out on time. They promised a trilogy and have delivered it through pure commitment. Really impressive. On top of that these games perform well and look great on all platforms they're on.
