I would recommend knowing how to play a song without even thinking about the next chord or strumming pattern before you start trying to sing over it because both parts are just going to get worse.

Practiced a bit and it seems doable enough. I dont remember the verses much so gotta practice more. Figure out what capo works for my voice etc

Ok, tomorrow Ill post my version of All of Me. The last part of the chorus is hard, gotta do falsetto and Im not sure I can do that good even.

Man the chorus is hard, here is one attempt, messed up a bit at the start of the verse. I can sing the chorus better if i just do the chorus, but when i go from the pre-chorus to the chorus I miss the pitch and stuff. I still need lotta work, especially on the final part, it wasn't that good here but it was better than the ones I tried to record before.

Man listening to that again, it was really bad, I know I've done better, but I promised a recording for today, haven't had time to do more, I may update for a better one later.

Either way, if you have any tips on more stuff to learn I'll try. Nothing too complicated. Best would be if more ppl join and record things, you don't have to be good, as long as you have fun :). I'll try to sing and play guitar to what you do, unless it's super hard >_>

Ive practiced country roads. The hardest part for me is at the chorus when it goes high at "I belong", I have managed that many times, but it's hard for me. I'll try to do a recording of that for tomorrow. I'll check out Wonderwall.

Honestly wonderwall is the way to go. Last Kiss as well. Simple song

Edit: the older version of last kiss, not the pearl jam version, in case you're using tabs

Maybe I'll record Wonderwall, but I just listened to it and I don't like the song, maybe I can find some joy in it trying to sing and play it.

My bad didn't see previous post

I will still try it. But no promise on posting a recording of it. I'm more into very melodic tunes. I can do most basic chords, I can do barre chords but not fluidly, F I usually do the easy non-barre version.Of all barre chords Bm is the one I can do most fluidly, but still with noticeable delay.

Nah I won't, I'll try anything as long as it's within my limitations. I mean I don't even like All of Me as a song, but it was still fun to sing and stuff and it has learning potential mainly the high notes at the end of the chorus example. I don't necceraly need to like the song to try it, and I won't even know if I want to continue practcing it until I try, there might be something to practice on that I can get better on to use on things I like.
