For those that have saved items for buying later, and left it there for a while, the price increases or decreases for mere pennies sometimes, like something priced at $14.73 is raised to $14.99
I gotta know whether it's some dude that actually manually prices it like that, or once you put something up on amazon there's an algorithm for pricing? Especially for 3rd party sellers --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I can understand huge price spikes, and even up to 5 dollars difference. But a couple cents worth of price difference? It gets me curious

I think its so if its sitting in your Wishlist/"save for later" or something they can change the price by like 5 cents so Amazon will send you a notification next time you log in, basically reminding you about this product you were somewhat interested in.

i'd imagine its price matching bullshit, i'm sure its handled by some computer looking at trends and tweaking prices a bit.

I think part of it is algorithm based. I haven't seen it for a while, but I've heard it's why you'll sometimes get third party items for ridiculous prices.
