People that say that it doesn't matter if you get fired because your company can find a replacement quickly. Or people that say that your job isn't very important. Or people that mock you for barely making much above minimum wage. Or people that just mock you for having the job you currently have.

How do you deal with people that tell the truth? I dunno. Now quit being a slacker and get back to work!

Only one person has ever told me that and he was just a few million ranks above me and made it clear right off the bat they didn't give a shit about my experience or what my side of the story was so I just sat there and took it and then said "OK Sir" at the end and walked out.

Can't really do much about that.

Really pissed me off when he showed up to my class graduation though and tried telling my parents how smart and special I was. Fuck that.

Jesus, I'm sorry. Truth is, somebody has to do this job. Also you gotta remember that your job does not define you as a human being, it's just something you do for money.

My training cost Best Buy thousands of dollars between multiple plane flights, paying for hotels and food. Im certainly replaceable, but Best Buy definitely doesnt want to do that again for someone else if they dont truly need to.

I've only heard this from a coworker, but not in a condescending way. We just talk about the workplace environment and speculate how upper management thinks, but they never treated me like that.
