What is your feeling on the restrictions used so far?

Seeing lots of people saying they dont want restrictions and they dont want masks. With that being said that does almost 4K dying a day not make you think things should have been done differently?

What would you have done differently or do you think everything was done the best it could?

There's a restaurant I go past every other day that still has inside seating and is always full. I'm in Southern California. It's people that that that are the reason we're not back to normal by now.

We need more restrictions and for them to actually be followed imo.

Its too late now. The lock down should have been super strict at the beginning. People would have accepted. Good luck having anyone follow a lock down now

Basically get drones, lots of drones and build robots. Find all those 'people' who have a problem and take care of them. Find a way to use large magnets to attract weapons. Then impose the rules!

Cali's one of the hardest hit states, doesn't make sense that they haven't restricted indoor dining.

There should have been a national shutdown in March when we finally understood how dangerous the virus was plus UBI starting then.

I DEFINITELY would have cried about how it's making me look bad, say the response is actually just a hoax in order to make me look bad, did everything in my power to turn people against the absolute minimum effort of responsibility, and put my corrupt son in law in charge of doling out supplies so he can be a corrupt fuck waffle about it!

That link only mentions outside dining. I said inside. Obviously outdoor dining wouldn't be as bad as an inside room full of people.

You can shut down non-essential services and public places but that still leaves essential services, and there are a lot of them. If you have to go to work or get groceries, you will expose yourself. There wasn't much that can be done unless you want to shut down everything including food...

Also, if you're a vulnerable person, shouldn't you be inside as much as possible? How did so many of these people get it?

At this point you can just expect another few months of this until vaccines are widespread. Its been 9 months and Americans are just not going to comply anymore without physical force which we have no means to actuate. Lock everything down and people just have house parties. They shut all our gyms/bars/restaurants/casinos down here in PA almost a month ago and weve seen maybe at best a 10% decrease in cases.

Not treat it like a hoax from day one and downplay it until it was too late.

I would force lock downs and offer a 0% interest rate loan to keep small business afloat. Would also give a $600 a week to every American who has been affected by the lock down. Would force strict jail time for those who would disregard these restrictions.
