Just dropped 1700 on a system, and can't get video. No one ever answers. They promise to call back in 24 hours. Put in a call no response for 48 hours. Call back, they call another 2 days later, while I'm at work. Only open M-F. I can't even take PTO to talk to them because there's no way of knowing if they will actually call me back. Seriously, wtf. Their systems are supposed to be great, but there customer service is F-tier.

next time watch Linus Tech Tips series "Secret Shopper"

they had one of their non-techy people call Dell, Origin PC, Cyberpower, etc and order a pc, and after doing a price to performance analysis, had the non-tech person call back saying they had an issue and see how their customer service is

spoilers: never order a dell pc. their customer service is basically "YEP ITS BROKEN SEND IT BACK"

okay well ill pretend im their customer service

they're going to ask to make sure you're putting the cable in the correct plug. it should be the plug thats on your graphics card. if your case has a glass panel, that means you can see where the graphics card is. on the part of the card thats on the outside are ports. make sure you're plugging in there.

next, no video could also mean the computer just isn't posting correctly.

tell me, do you know much about computers? do you know much about RAM? thats usually the culprit with these issues. a lot of time its not plugged in correctly or came out during shipping.

I can hear Cortana come on. Checked all the connections. May be a bunk graphics card. Can't take calls at work. Can't call on break because they don't answer. Can't do it on the weekend because they're closed.

@DarkRoast

Didn't I see you posting about having some ABS systems? Have you had to deal with their customer service?
