I watched this series back in 2001/02. On the recommendation of a girl I was trying to date. I have the entire series mixed across one VHS and 3 DVDs.
To this day, I've only watched the entire series through twice. I love it, but it makes me feel awful at the same time. The opening sequence is condensed depression. --- You know how fads are. lain isnt the kind of show that gives you answers, it's full of symbolism and weird metaphors presented in trippy imagery, like a Lynch movie or something similar. if you're not into stuff where you have to interpret answers yourself then you arent going to enjoy it
