I spilt hot chocolate on mine a couple of times awhile ago. Now it seems like my mouse cursor tends to start skipping and feels clunky at certain times and when I go over certain areas on the mouse pad. Am I fucked or is this fixable?

I spent 10 dollars on mine about a year ago. I figured this was a one time purchase.

Can I put the mouse pad in the washing machine and maybe that will work?

bad idea. the rubber could crack from the heat and leave a bunch of rubber crud in dryer and/or washer

My Alienware mousepad is starting to separate after multiple cleanings.

I'm actually in the market for something nice.
