In Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big Break for GameBoy, the final boss, Montana Max, laughs at you before the fight but notes that he would give up if you gave him 999 gems.

This is extremely hard, because it requires finding nearly every hidden minigame and gem in the game, never dying, and basically doing everything 100% perfect. The game has no save system, so you have to do it in one sitting.

I spent years perfecting it and eventually did it. When you give him the gems, he laughs, calls you a loser and fights you anyway.
