This is false. It wasn't inherently Trump's idea, it was something Congress already wanted and it was already an established command anyway.

But I anticipate it's going to have difficulties recruiting when they do open up to the public just because people aren't going to know wtf it is, just like how people now think that if you're in the Navy all you do is operate engines on a ship, or that everyone in the Air Force flies planes.
