Sometimes people who are new to a hobby just want to talk about it so they ask questions since it's easy to get people talking that way...

I like people who ask questions or just wanna discuss the hobby - sometimes its easy to forget that people were once right where you were struggling to learn.. you can be a conduit for them to skip things that would otherwise take a long time to learn

Gatekeeping is bad, but shitting on methods is a-ok
