Hey, let's tell a social species to be petrified of each other and see how depressed they become. If you want sex go and get it. It's a 1 on 1 thing, not a party with 1,000 people around you. Odds are neither one of you will be sick to begin with, so you have nothing to spread...just go for it. And if you do get sick, you have what a 99% or better survival rate if you're young? I wouldn't turn down sex with those odds. If you're worried about pop and grandma just isolate from vulnerable people afterwards. Simple. Don't get me wrong I'm not advocating going out and being wreckless with huge parties, but at the same time you can't act like a sheep and follow word-for-word what the hope-to-be dictators on TV tell you to do.
