<___< admittedly like 10-20 of those hours are just idling or having it minimized when searching for things or letting my laptop cool down.

Like I get why people dislike it compared to the other games in the series but the base gameplay is still fun.

Lack of meaningful dialogue choices aside, though, I feel the games two biggest sins are:

not giving your settlers more things to do besides food tending and defense. I know a lot of people like the settlement building stuff but I don't get much out of

and

not taking the next step with the radiant quests and having culminating events for them, like for every 5 DIA caches you find for Railroad you find like some kind of bigger cache that has something like a Legendary Railway rifle whose effects are only available through the DIA caches.

just a bit more something to add more depth to the ocean size puddle the world seems to be >_>

It's a good game tbqh

Ngl I'd probably be playing it right now (XB1) if the last Creation Club update hadn't fucked up the stability of DT Boston and other high-stress areas, making the game unplayable.
