I mean, how did the onset of symptoms occur?

Past couple days, I've had a bit of sinus pressure and sniffling. Almost like allergies. And a "thick" feeling kinda like a post nasal drip. Might cough once in a bit, to clear my throat, but it hasn't been rough or frequent coughing.

Haven't had any flu-like symptoms though. No nausea, diarrhea, chills, loss of appetite, body ache, sore throat, fatigue, or fever yet. Though the fever could be suppressed by the sinus medication I've taken.

I didnt think much of it, because I've only left the house to go to work or the commissary, but this evening I realized I could barely smell my deodorant or taste my toothpaste.

Mine started as just a very minor sore throat. Ached for about an hour before going away. Returned that night alongside a mild fever. Next day had a cough too.

After that it was the regular symptoms, cough, shortness of breath, fever, loss of taste/smell, general weakness... the worst was the aches though, I don't think I've ever felt that of soreness just from being sick before. Over all it wasn't all that bad, just an annoying cough and persistent shortness of breath now.

If I wasn't told to get tested because of a close contact at work, I'd have never known. I was exposed on Dec 19th and tested positive on the 23rd. No symptoms as of yet and hopefully stays that way.

I am fairly certain I had this a year ago as well. Just looked up my Wechat feed, and on Dec 30th I went to the hospital because of severe flu like symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, body aches, etc). This was in China and I tested negative for every test they ran. It definitely makes sense considering the timeline.
