I recently realized that I haven't bought a physical movie in literally years. Whenever I want to watch something, I just go to my nvidia shield and stream it. Or I'll download it, to watch offline later.

Yep. There's a lot of deep catalog genre stuff that isn't available to stream.

Yup. I have little trust that streaming services will leave things up untouched forever.

It's on Hulu in the US. At least that's where I rewatched it a year or two ago. Might be on Crunchyroll and Funimation too.

I buy all my media physically - movies, games, books and even music. Just bought some new CDs today, actually.

Yep. But usually only if it includes a digital copy or is a limited release (Scream Factory, Criterion, Arrow) of a movie that I love.

No, people don't buy physical media anymore. They just keep putting movies/video games/music on disk because they like how it looks on shelves.

Pretty much this. I only buy digital games too.

I just really don't like displaying physical media. It's just clutter to me.

Except for Parasite and Bill and Ted 3, the last time I paid to see a movie or TV show (physical, VOD, or theaters) was The Last Jedi.

Yes. I have a blu-ray player in my PC. Great way to support content creators. I also buy CD's, but don't really use them. It's more about support. Nice seeing animated shows/film the way it's meant to be watched rather than watching a rushed censored 20fps version on stream.

Physical media is more about creating a nice collection to look at. It's like vinyl records at this point, imo.

Nope, I stopped buying physical media back when DVD's and Xbox 360 games were a thing. So much waste created by this stuff, it's kinda shitty of a person to buy physical media when digital exists. No reason to contribute to global pollution.
