I am kinda weirded out that she had no problems whatsoever by essentially killing a random dude to bring back Steve. Like, she acknowledged it was worth further investigation but didn't see anything wrong with it.

They really didn't even need to have him inhabit another body. Just say the wish made him come back from Hades or whatever in his actual body. Being in another guy's body had very little impact on the plot after the initial meeting.

How did Maxs son go from wondering about on a highway (screaming for his dad) to emerging from the trees by some secret government facility where Max was at?

Also, are we supposed to believe that every single person in the world who made a world-altering wish revoke their wishes? Because you know there were thousands upon thousands of those types of wishes.

Her not being electrocuted with cheetah made no damn sense.

Barbara surviving his whatever. You can pass if off on her being hopped up on enough of that wish energy or whatever to not die.

I haven't seen the movie, but I did see a comment explaining that. You apparently see her lasso lightning or something earlier in the movie? So it's established that she can withstand electricity.
