Both of those games need an HD remaster, for several reasons.

I'm fine with there not being a Baten Kaitos 3; the way the first game ended--the second game being a prequel--I don't see how they could even continue the story, unless it's set in an entirely different world.

I wish I finished the 1st one it had great visuals and the soundtrack was well done. Got lost on disc 2 and didn't finish it. I didn't like what they did with the prequel though everyone sharing one deck was a odd choice.

Oh yeah, I never played that game but I remember people talking about it as one of the best looking GC games

I wish. I never did get all of the Magnus, especially not the one that unlocks the final six music tracks (the perfect hair one, I think).

Getting all the cards is just lol yeah right and even upgrading your deck was annoying.

2 looked worse but overall better gameplay.

don't worry. you can become a master baten kaitos player. the key is to learn to play one-handed.

I really hope there's a third one at some point. I know it's a slim-to-none chance, but still.

I'm not sure which game I liked better. The first one's gameplay felt more unique and more like a card collecting-and-battling system, whereas I liked the flow of combat more in the second one. Also, I prefer Origin's playable cast to BK1's, but BK1's soundtrack was a bit better.

Apparently, according to one of the heads at Monolithsoft, there are outlines and storyboards for a third entry, but they are locked away at Bandai Namco HQ somewhere.

That's weird, since I thought Monolithsoft was acquired by Nintendo by the time of Origins (which is why Namco can't be seen anywhere on the box)?

It is weird that Nintendo published it in all regions as opposed to Namco, considering that the sale of Monolithsoft to Nintendo didn't occur until a year later.
