Whats better?The Vive and Index are better headsets and have outside-in tracking, vs. Oculus's inside-out tracking. Of course the trade-off is price. get a quest 2 to figure out if you even like VR beyond just a hand full of games. I'm about to get an Index and know that VR is what I want to do, a Quest 2 will help you figure that out.

This is also good advice. I have a Vive and generally play it 5 days a week. But for most people I could easily see it being a $1000 paperweight.
