@Korayashi is backstage detailing some anatomically improbable actions he is going to take with Bang and her two belts en route to reclaiming his title. @davidponte busts into the scene saying it's about time somebody took both of them down a peg! They come to blows, but Kora gets the upper hand.

Konnan v. Ludwig w/Koopalings
Konnan is able to fight off repeated interference from the Koopalings, but it costs him momentum. Ludwig gets the upper hand, but one reversal later Konnan comes out on top.

Bison is talking about life after Bang and after YMD. Bang jumps him from behind! She seems to have been expecting an easy fight to let off some steam, but Bison turns the tables on her with a Psycho Crusher. He stalks off warning her not to underestimate him because she got lucky once.

Rocky v. Bowser
Rocky's been having a rough time in B8WL, and tonight is no exception as Bowser rolls through him, picking some momentum back up for MLMF.

The shenanigans start quickly, as Truth jumps david on the entry ramp! Maniac ignores them as they brawl the way to the ring, instead preferring to put himself over. Matt Stryker eventually gets annoyed and calls him out on it. Maniac rubs Stryker's nose in his failed in-ring career...then rubs his his literal nose into the announce desk! Vamp enjoys the violence, bro, so it falls to @MajinZidane to make the big save and run Maniac off! Truth is extremely distracted by all this, and david capitalizes for the win.

As Stryker puts himself back together, Vampiro announces that Bang v. Kora for the vacant title is officially booked for Summer Spectacular! Moreover, Cueto liked Kora's promo so much that it will be a BELTS ON POLES MATCH! Bang's two titles and the contested B8WL title will be suspended from three of the four corners, and legal as weapons! Let the anatomically improbable action commence!

@ScareChan v. @TheSultanOfSlam
After a ref bump, Sultan takes some liberties with a chair. Scare wrestles the chair away and retaliates in kind....but of course that's when the ref wakes up, and Scare is DQ'd.

Legolas is down and out backstage! Gimli and medical staff are tending to him. Legolas didn't see who got him, and Gimli was arguing with the most likely suspects YMD at the time. Will Legolas be ready to fight later, and whodunnit?

Liv w/DJ REVERB v. Iskandar w/Waver
Liv tries jumping Iskandar on the ramp, but it doesn't work out any better for her than it did for Truth a couple matches back. Waver tries to insert himself, but DJ REVERB tackles him into Iskandar! Liv picks the bones and gets a win over the big man!

Mario interviews Cueto. Earlier, Belts on Poles was announced for the title....but since there are three belts, shouldn't there be three people? David impressed Cueto with his pluck, so he's getting the opportunity of a lifetime and getting inserted into the title match!

.....That's only about half the show but it's bedtime and that's as good a stopping point as any >_>

Mastery of Taybles: Champion King @Maniac64 v. @eaedwards6400 w/ Time Cops
Despite the best efforts of the Time Cops, Maniac is able to control a majority of the match and win clean.

Flair comes out after the match to mock Eaed's loss! He had numbers on Maniac and still lost his big shot! Eaed declines comment, instead chasing Flair back up the ramp. They brawl to the back, where Eaed gets the upper hand and chucks Flair into some crates.

A video package airs, documenting @Panthera 's mostly losing struggle against all the heel stables, with a particular focus on @XIII_rocks and the YMD.

The Fellowship (Legolas and Gimli) v. @Eddv and Bison w/Caelus
Legolas is still a bit banged up from earlier, but he looks to be able to fight. Gimli is forced to do a lot of the heavy lifting, but chemistry saves the day, giving the Fellowship the win over the odd couple of recently-ousted heels.

@ScareChan is not ready to be done tonight, and calls out Ludwig! They've both had matches already, but Scare wants a better one, and he and Cena have had beef with MLMF for a while now. Ludwig comes out, looking ready to rumble....but blows him off and leaves before stepping in the ring.

@MajinZidane v. Ric Flair
Flair is a bit ginger on his way to the ring after getting yeeted by Eaed, but he's up for a fight regardless. Or so it would seem- Boko gets him on the ropes quickly, and rather than fighting it out, Flair goes for the blatant low blow to get himself DQ'd!

Daniel Bryan is in the parking lot, which as any wrestling fan will tell you never ends well. Golden butterflies swirl around him....and a swarm of Goat-kuns materializes! They trample Bryan within an inch of his life! Beatrice emerges from the shadows and stands over Bryan's unconscious body with her best ahaha.wav!

@Korayashi v. Goldberg
Kora is looking good heading into the title picture, playing the tweener as he rolls over Goldberg in a fairly quick match.

The announcers go over some footage of Boko/Flair, and wonder if Boko is finding his feet in B8WL....and if Flair still has what it takes.
((feel free to weigh in for or against Flair's continued inclusion, I haven't really been following that whole thing IRL, but the sim gave me a decent way to write him out if we so choose))

GRUDGE MATCH: @Panthera and Joker w/Morgana v. YMD (UCA and HC Champ Bang and @XIII_rocks )
Joker is of course fairly well suited to wrestling, and even as a guest seems to find his stride fairly quickly. Bang is a bit more subdued for her part, looking past the Phantom Thieves to Kora and david and a potential triple crown. They fight....and fight....and continue fighting! In the end, time has to be called, and the show goes off the air without a winner! (They probably restarted it for the live crowd, but too bad, it was a dark match :P)

"Not much, interns got us shut down for two months. And this weird octopus thing's been following RE around- oh there it is."

"The Monitor.... yeah,with it's... main gig on hiatus, it's decided to work with us for a bit."

"Hmm." "Hmm." "Hmmmm." "...Anyone interesting join up?" "....No." "...."

"...." ECHO stares at Liv. "...WHAT DO YOU MEAN JOKER JOINED AFTER I-" She bites her lip.

"Oh don't worry, our... plans are still in motion. ...Not sure about that extra thing you wanted, but..." She smiles. "*Everyone* is gonna watch me, and what happens with Zangief and the rest of the Knights."

A Masters of Taybles match between myself and Maniac talk about a flashback.

BLASE
We kick off our season by hosting the Green Hill Hedgehogs. Pitcher Aria Bolo is just nooooot having a good day, giving up eight homers between the second and third innings. Our bats were popping too, and BOTH teams triggered Sun 2 (if you score 10 runs, they go away but you get a Win) in the fourth inning! Several innings of Sloftball later, Bolo gets fed up and beans Infinite M'Bius...and the umps retaliate by banning her from pitching! She moves to 3rd Blase, while Country Fortwort in turn takes over pitching duties. It won't make too much difference today, but generally that's going to be a downgrade in pitching. After the Hedgehogs take advantage of Shortstop 404's questionable Chasiness several at-bats in a row, Country also loses their temper and plunks Hedgehogs Prower. A fight ensues! We kick their butts....but the umpires call the game there, leaving it as a 9-3 loss. Really though, with Sun 2 proccing 5(!) times, everybody's a winner- they walk away with 4 Wins, we get 2, and that should put us on top of our respective divisions for today at least. Country Fortwort also got a lot of Peanuts (this game's experience system) allowing them to at least somewhat prepare for their new pitching career.

Around the league:

We do indeed land in first, but the Montreal Boyfriends, Kanto Bulbasaurs, and Paris Sect are all on our heels after picking up ("real") Wins.

Usurper
A solo-able RPG I have been wanting to start for a while now- I'm the type to using existing IPs and such instead of coming up with my own for stuff like this (see also the main project!) but it had such a robust world and character generation system that I couldn't help myself. That probably won't come across in the little blurbs I'm planning to post, but hey if you want lore I got lore, man. Our adventure begins (and will likely stay for a while) in the lawless city of Heartgrasp, where our quartet of misfits is bonding over drinks in the grand TTRPG tradition. Bandits (and groups perhaps more sinister still) have been running roughshod over the common folk, and start a fight in our heroes' bar of choice. Our gang are not supremely accomplished fighters (Tirim the ex-trainee assassin nearly died, and Kanina our wannabe tank broke a leg) but managed to hold them off until the cavalry arrived. It'll take them a while to recover, but now we're in good with the loose alliance of citizens that's trying to stick up for themselves!
