Once more, we have returned. Hopefully I can actually get back into my hobbies so this stops being like a show every three months and purging >_>

-This is a wrestling fed run by a tabletop game (Face to the Mat, from PLAAY. It's good. Get it.)
-It mixes B8ers, actual wrestlers, and fictional characters
-You may sign up at any time, although you might not show up right away. Or you can just read along!
-You can also nominate "celebrities" to get involved. Currently you may nominate three.
-Sometimes I'll also put calls for wrestlers to add to the queue, or other input.
-Booking is like 50% the game, 40% me, and 10% y'all.

Current events:
-Kora was the last survivor in Torneo Cibernetico, securing the win for Dario Cueto's alliance of heel stables and earning himself a title shot. Panthera and his Phantom Thieves have once again failed to win the big one.
-Before that, the Fellowship of the Ring won King of Trios, despite having to sub Konnan in for Aragorn. Legolas and Gimli earn permanent spots on the roster, and have since been a thorn in YMD's side.
-Bangladesh DuPree is on a big roll, holding the UCA Title against all comers and also picking up the Hardcore Title.
-Steve Austin beat the crap out of Mario to win the B8WL Title
-Next up is PYRAMID WAR, a crazy battle royal format stolen from Tiger Mask W!
-We still don't know what's behind all the weird sneak attacks that have been happening for a few months

Next show is probably no later than Wed:
SHOW 2-16

Strife v. Maniac
Cena+Scare v. Truth+Ludwig
Rocky v. Kora
HC: Bang (c) v. Legolas
Austin+Flair v. David+Eaed

Show 2-16

-Mario is supposedly hosting the man who took his title and put him on the shelf, but Stone Cold doesn't come out! Instead, Stone Cold appears on the tron, and rips into Mario! He calls Mario a weak little cartoon man, who deserved to be crushed like the joke he is. Austin 3:16 and such.

-@Maniac64 comes out with Hansi Kursch playing the Knights' entrance music!

-Match: @Strife2 v. King Maniac
(btw Strife I remember you nominating three MMA dudes or something but they didn't make it on the sheet if you wanna nominate again)
Another slobberknocker from these two. Strife's starting to incorporate a bit more variety into his slams, keeping the King on his toes. Maniac lays Strife out with a lariat, and covers....but Strife rolls through! 1....2....no! Both men back up....and Maniac catches him with the Implant DDT! It's over! Competitive match, but Strife continues to just come up a hair short.
Winner: Maniac

-Maniac jaw jacks with a young fan in a cat kigurumi, who tells him he smells evil.

-Cena and @ScareChan are pissed that they didn't make it onto the Torneo Cibernetico team. They lost fair and square, but so did the Phantom Thieves, so they're going to make an example out of MLMF tonight!

-Match: Cena and Scare v. MLMF ( @Eddv and Truth)
Despite the generally high heel momentum coming off Cibernetico, Eddv and Truth seem to have some sort of issue of late. Regardless, MLMF have control of the early stages until Cena manages to rope Truth into an STF. Once the momentum starts to turn, Ludwig tries to run interference by grabbing Scare on the apron. Eddv tries a flying tackle....but Scare ducks, and Eddv sends Ludwig flying! Caelus takes a big swig because he doesn't get paid enough. Truth blind tags in, and Scare ducks HIM, leading to Eddv getting clocked. Netflix and Chill! 1....2....3!
Winners: Cena and Scare

-Scare and Cena try to cut a promo, but are cut off by Cueto! Cueto has noticed some dissention in the ranks of MLMF lately, and he needs his minions all on the same page. At Pyramid War....Eddv will face Truth for leadership of the MLMF....and the loser will be kicked out!

-Liv Morgan discusses the finer points of beards for a while. She likes them almost as much as she likes women! (she had a lesbian angle going for like two seconds in WWE right?)

-Match: Rocky v. @Korayashi
Rocky is still taped up from being freakin' stabbed by Benoit Blanc at the Knights' behest a few weeks ago, but revenge waits for no man. Maybe it should've, though, because Kora puts Rocky away with minimal effort.
Winner: Kora

-Kora admits he was looking past Rocky, but can you blame him? Rocky's a complete loser, and Kora is getting his title back after carrying Team Cueto to victory!

-HARDCORE TITLE: Champion and UCA Champ Bangladesh DuPree v. Legolas
Bang opens with a cheap shot before the bell, but gets cocky and doesn't see a flying knee coming in retaliation. Bison runs in and hits a series of moves on Legolas! Bang slams Legolas onto a nearby furniture dolly, then crashes it into the barricade. Bang charges, but gets flapjacked into the crowd, and Legolas follows up with a flipping legdrop over the barricade. Legolas smacks Bang's head off a stair rail, but Bison runs interference again, preventing him from building up too much momentum. Legolas tangles Bison up in the stair rail and applies the Tarantula! That should even the numbers for a bit, but it also lets Bang recover...and suplex Legolas back onto the ringside floor! Bang rummages under the ring and finds...a tire iron! She applies it to Legolas' back. The champ checks on Bison. Legolas sees his opening and attacks from behind....but Bison warns Bang, and she whirls around and clocks him with the tire iron, in the head this time! It's over!
Winner and STILL champ: Bang

-Gimli's frustrated backstage, but he has to focus on the main event.

-Cueto finds Austin and Flair warming up backstage. He's glad that they are getting along, because in this industry, you need....friends.

-Match: @eaedwards6400 and @davidponte v. B8WL Champ Austin and Flair
Austin starts off trying to do everything himself, but realizes before too long that the numbers game doesn't favor him, and tags in Flair. Once the heels start acting like a team, they are able to regain control, and Austin puts david away after a double suplex. Cueto approves backstage.
Winners: Austin and Flair

(It was definitely supposed to be Truth and Ludwig in that tag match earlier whoops. Well, it's not Tombooking if I don't accidentally put somebody on twice.)

-Ben Kingsley doesn't understand why somebody would want to advertise their low moral fiber.

-GRUDGE: Gimli v. @Eddv
IIRC, this match came about because these two brawled to the back for a double DQ as part of Cibernetico. Gimli starts off with a powerful belly to belly, followed up with a diving forearm. Eddv reverses an arm twist, but Gimli just punches him in the gut with his free hand. Eddv snap mares him anyway, then applies an abdominal stretch. Gimli sweeps the leg as he gets up. Gimli goes for a diving headbutt, but Eddv rolls out of the way! That one hurt, but Gimli shakes it off as Eddv plays to the crowd. Caelus takes a drunken swing at Gimli, but Gimli catches it and launches him into Eddv! Cover! 1....2....3!
Winner: Gimli

-Legolas comes out to celebrate. He offers Eddv a hand up, but Eddv doesn't take it, and stalks to the back alone.

I'm thinking I might start putting quick little blurbs about my other similar games, just to break things up. None of it is as relevant to B8's interests as this one, but it probably beats weeks of straight botposting, right? Anyway.

SHOW 2-17

-We're opening on action, but first Goldberg and Iskandar bro it up a bit backstage.

-MATCH: @Panthera v. Goldberg
For a sec it looks like Panth's losing streak is going to continue, but he starts firing back before it turns into a squash. Goldberg starts to get annoyed that the Phantom Thief refuses to stay down, and they do the butting heads arguing bit. Ryuji comes in with a chair...but Goldberg pulls the ref into the line of fire! Goldberg spears Ryuji AND Panth, and covers for 3....but the ref just throws out the match.
NO CONTEST

-Hey, Monster Kid is backstage! We haven't seen him much since King of Tri-oh no, something took him out from behind! Golden butterflies swirl around the area.....and coalesce into the form of a young woman in a ballgown. At the ninth twilight, the Witch shall be revived, and none shall be left alive...

-Match: Bryan v. @XIII_rocks
Bryan had to prove himself just to get into Cibernetico, and then he got eliminated without taking anybody out for his team. He's fired up for a second chance tonight, and comes out of the gate hot. Even XIII's signature bag of rocks only seems to be pissing him off! XIII throws Bryan to the apron, but Bryan suplexes him to the floor, and both are down for a while. Bryan is up first, and rallies the crowd....only to get drilled with Thirteen Rocks! I'm not sure if that's a move or him just hitting you with a specific amount of geology, use your imagination. Bryan is reeling....but hits the Knee Plus! 1.....2....no! Again! 1.....2....no! Armbar, but XIII gets to the ropes. Dueling chants....trading strikes....Bryan floors XIII with a European Uppercut! 1....2....3!
Winner: Bryan

-Cueto comes out, probably to say something snarky, but Bryan cuts him off before he can talk, and says they both know he's the real deal!

-@MajinZidane is tired of just being the fun loser sidekick, and tonight he's gonna stick up for his buddy Mario and show everybody he's a fun WINNER sidekick!

-THREE WAY DANCE: Boko v. King @Maniac64 v. Flair
We roll elimination style here because that's what has official rules. Flair gets doubleteamed pretty hard to start. Unfair! But he evens the playing field with a low blow and an eye poke. The match continues and Maniac seems to be in control after a series of questionable ref decisions. Gorilla Press on Boko gets a 2 count, and so does a whip into an exposed turnbuckle. Boko fires back with haymakers on Flair, as the ref finally stands up to Maniac and takes away a chair. Boko tackles Flair, and Flair pops up...into Maniac's Implant DDT! 1....2....3! Boko plays to the crowd for a rally.....but gets kicked in the gut, and takes an Implant DDT of his own! 1.....2.......3!
Winner: Maniac

-Another big win for the Knights! Kora, Zangief and Liv applaud from the ramp, as Mario comes down in an interviewing role.

-Maniac tries to give a rousing promo about the Knights, but just winds up flubbing all of his lines and running out of breath. Ain't his night on the stick.

-MATCH: Cena and @ScareChan v. MLMF (Bowser and Ludwig)
With all the tumult in MLMF-land, they're hoping at least the father-son(?) duo can unite for a win over the CeNation in a rematch of sorts. Scare plays face in peril, getting ragdolled by Bowser and befuddled by Ludwig's heel shenanigans. Big tag to Cena....but Ludwig stabs him with a fork! Bowser tags in, uses the fork again....and scores the pin!
Winners: MLMF

-Scare gets chucked out of the ring....and Ludwig spraypaints MLMF on Cena's back!

[Snack break!]

my @MajinZidane tag in the previous post appears to have misfired

@IhatethisCPU
-MATCH: Gimli v. Liv Morgan w/DJ REVERB
Liv may not have made the cut for Team Cueto, but her shenanigans helped lead them to victory nonetheless, and Gimli wants to even the score. Back and forth in the opening stages, with Liv's speed matching Gimli's power. DJ REVERB keeps complaining about the ref....a rope break here, a dubious "hair pull" there....finally senior official Jerry Maddux has enough and DQ's Liv for it! Even Gimli wants to fight it out, but too bad.
Winner by DQ: Gimli

-Cueto calls the main eventers into his office. He's getting tired of Bangy Two Belts' dominance, and of @davidponte 's inability to win the big one. He wants to be ENTERTAINED tonight.

-UCA TITLE: Champion and HC Champ Bangladesh DuPree w/Bison v. davidponte
David has Bang scouted by now, and keeps his distance to throw off her rhythm. Hookup for a test of strength, and Bang comes out on top....then flings david with a belly to belly! Chokehold for 4.5, then Bison bonks the challenger with a chair as the ref is distracted. Bang with some stomps, then she picks David up...but he reverses into a tight powerslam! Bison tries to rally his partner, but it's time for David to do some stomping of his own! Bison tries to rush the ring....but Bang decks him! She doesn't want his help! She sucker punches David to demonstrate, and even tries a (rather lousy) Psycho Crusher! 1.....2......3!
Winner and STILL Champion: Bang

-Bison apologizes all the way up the ramp, but Bang's not having any of it. Is this the end of the power couple of YMD?

SHOW 2-18: PYRAMID WAR
Mario hosts

GRUDGE/LOSER LEAVES STABLE: Eddv v. Truth
It started with a mysterious letter to Eddv....now it culminates with the two oldest members of MLMF vying for control.

MoT: Konnan (c) v. Maniac
Konnan has been quietly doing well for himself in the midcard....but that's exactly the kinda guy Maniac enjoys eating.

B8WL: Austin (c) v. Kora
In a rare heel/heel title match, Kora looks to get his title back just as quickly as he lost it...but Austin is loaded for bear after beating the crap out of Mario for the belt!

PYRAMID WAR: More or less the rest of the roster?
Originating in Tiger Mask W, this strange match features a "pyramid" made out of concentric, ascending rings. If you eliminate somebody, you can ascend to the next tier....and the first two to reach the apex will battle it out for the ultimate victory, and a title shot at Summer Spectacular!

FUTURE
GRUDGE: Liv v. Zangief
IRONMAN: Mario/Boko v. Eddv/Maniac

I'm thinking I might start putting quick little blurbs about my other similar games, just to break things up. None of it is as relevant to B8's interests as this one, but it probably beats weeks of straight botposting, right? Anyway.

My baseball league has teams of completely blank-slate rookies playing a season. (you might remember a topic where I asked y'all to help name them!) We're nearing the end of Season 1, at which point I will actually give them attributes based on their performance, and then we'll play another season (probably having B8 re-draft the teams?) and re-do the attributes AGAIN, and so forth until I get sick of it.

Today saw the Texas Bulls visiting Florida to take on the O'Rangers in a battle to stay out of the basement. Texas' Click-Click Boom got tossed in the 4th for arguing balls and strikes, but the Bulls got on the board with an error from 3B Lump Beefbroth, and struck again with the ever-elusive GIDP non-RBI. The Bulls collapsed in the bottom half of the inning, as Punch Gun allowed runners to score on consecutive errors. The Bulls bats woke up in the 7th for two actually earned runs, but Pants Millingford failed to seal the deal in the ninth, saddling Lloyd Llewylln with loaded bases, a run in, and no outs. Heidi Kimchi knocked a walk-off two-run single to give Florida the win, 5-4. Florida is in the running to win .500, while Texas is just trying to get over their four-game losing streak (which is devastating in an 8-game regular season lol)

it's spring break, so if all goes to plan, you'll get several of the other games and the actual update for this on Sunday!

Fury Hardball is already a weird mashup of baseball, cricket, and wiffleball, but I wanted to give it just a bit more twist, so I made some house mechanics that attempted to emulate Blaseball, which was a fairly new thing at the time. I have four divisions of six teams each, and everybody plays everybody else in their division home-and-away. With today's Global Division games, everybody's played their first set! Auckland, Sydney, and whatever the gris DHK is supposed to stand for all swept their opponents, which was accomplished only twice in the other three divisions combined. We also had our first Incineration of the project, with the untimely demise of SYD benchwarmer Watsford paving the way for the debut of the marginally more useful Wilson.

Superstar Team GP is a stock car racing project run with Red, White, and Blue Racing. I have teams of 5 racers, unsurprisingly drawn mostly from fandoms, competing on both an individual and team basis. Every "season" some drivers will rotate out, and the new ones will be re-rated based on their performance. We're about halfway through season one, and while Sweet JP leads the individual rankings after two wins, Team NASCAR's consistently solid performances have earned them the lead in the team competition. Before today's race, Spridle and Chim-Chim, Tails, and Berserker Fran all got in trouble for running their mouths, which is three different kinds of amusing (as well as rather improbable- much like B8WL, sometimes you just get all the "crazy stuff happens!" rolls in a row.) Pops Racer took the pole. We have our first feud of the project as the Ant Hill Mob plots to make Dale Earnhardt sleep with the fishes, and a dramatic pileup totaled ten cars (including several former front runners) right in the final stretch! Nero takes the checkered flag after speeding through the all-important final pit. She's unfortunately unable to rescue Team Fate from the basement, even with surprisingly relevant performances from Nobunaga and Blavatsky. NASCAR and Sweet JP extend their respective leads over their closest challengers.

Back to the baseball game, the Wisconsin Bakers visited the Westmont Downers. Unless I'm confused, both teams are mathematically eliminated, and indeed played like it in the field, with three errors a side. Westmont took the lead in the 3rd and never looked back, answering a two-run homer by lighting up Chin-Hae Kapwhan for 7 runs. They still won't make the playoffs, but maybe they feel a bit better after snapping a losing streak with a 12-3 win to stay out of the basement!

Golf! We're nearing the end of our first season of the Multiverse Tour (I have creative names for things) and Kirby has taken home today's tournament. Kirby shot a 70 in the final round, and that quiet consistency allowed him to withstand the volatile games of contenders ranging from the usual (like Kid from Mario Golf and Ribbit King) to the Cinderellas of the day. (Nero and Putts) Cena held on to his #1 spot despite an unremarkable performance, and the race is heating up to grab playoff spots by landing in the top 16.

no PPV mashup theme this time but hey how about the game you're actually here for!

B8WL Presents Pyramid War

((you know it's gonna be a crazy show when the very first roll is doubles))

-Mario's guest at this-a time is none other than Bangy Two Belts! (this gimmick was topical at the time, man) Mario is fairly gracious as a host, but Bang keeps putting him down and referencing his frequent injuries. Eventually @MajinZidane comes out and tells her to knock it off, or she won't like what happens. Bang turns her arrogance on Boko, and Mario has enough! He asks the folks in the back to play the video after all. Security footage from a hotel plays, showing a hooded figure leaving a hotel room. A few seconds later, Bang emerges in a towel! M. Bison comes into the frame, and she welcomes him into the room....but who was the first person??? Bang is furious, and challenges Mario to a Hardcore match as soon as he can hobble down to the ring!

-@Eddv says that Truth has been deadweight in MLMF, and tonight the fat is going to be trimmed!

-LOSER LEAVES MLMF: Eddv w/Caelus v. R-Truth
Truth quickly ducks behind and grabs a chickenwing, but Eddv powers out with some stiff shots with his free elbow, then flips Truth into a backdrop. Irish Whip into the ropes, but Truth comes back with a Flying Jalapeno, both men down. Eddv is first up, and picks up Truth but gets kicked in the gut and slapped in the face for his troubles. Truth tries a spinning backfist, but a reeling Eddv backs out of the way. Eddv grabs a swig of liquid courage from Caelus, and spits it in Truth's face! He underestimates Truth's resilience, though, and gets dropkicked into the corner while playing to the crowd. Eddv staggers out of the corner into an atomic drop, but rolls to the outside and regroups with Caelus. He's a bit slow getting back in the ring, and Truth capitalizes with a rollup! Feet on the ropes! 1.....2......3!
Winner: R-Truth

-Cueto expresses some regret that the dirty pin wasn't a very decisive win, but Truth tells him to stick it.

-Konnan says he's a fighting champion, and he's not scared of @Maniac64 or anybody else!

-MASTERY OF TAYBLES: Champion Konnan v. King Maniac64
Light brawling to start off- Maniac wins the exchange with a big boot and some ground strikes. Maniac chucks Konnan to the outside. They fight on the apron, and Konnan brings Maniac OUT the hard way! Konnan sets up a table, but Maniac attacks before he can do anything with it. Konnan lifts Maniac up for a backdrop onto the table, but Maniac reverses into a big DDT! Both men wiped out, but Maniac is up first, and elbows Konnan in the noggin a few times. Maniac goes for some rest holds just to wear down the champ, but Konnan eventually powers out. They brawl back over to the table.....and Maniac puts Konnan t'rew it with the Implant DDT!
Winner and NEW Master of Taybles: Maniac

-Cueto is pleased by this ~violence~

-Korayashi is hanging out backstage with some of the Wonderful 101. Wonder Blue has taken a particular liking to him as a kindred spirit. He'll grow his soulpatch into a beard if Kora wins! Once Kora leaves, the rest of the group decides Austin is definitely retaining.

-B8WL TITLE: Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin v. Korayashi
Kora being the sole survivor of Torneo Cibernetico has brought us to this heel/heel title match! He tries some brawling, but Austin just flips him off, so Kora pokes him in the eye instead. He traps Austin into an early Sharpshooter, but Austin powers out and escapes to the outside. Kora gives chase....but Austin just grabs the title belt and levels him with it! Flagrant DQ, even by B8WL standards!
Winner by DQ, but NOT the new champion: Kora

-Flair joins Austin on the ramp, mocking Kora!

((bit of a break before I move on to the crazy pyramid match))

-PYRAMID WAR: 23 entrants
Pretty much everybody is in this, save those who have already had a match, and the injured Mario. This includes the official debut of the Golden Witch Beatrice! Wrestlers start on the arena floor, surrounding a three-tiered "pyramid" made of stacked concentric wrestling rings. By defeating an opponent, one may ascend to the next level of the pyramid, and the defeated opponent will be out of the match. When two entrants have reached the top ring, (by defeating 3 opponents each) all other participants will be eliminated, and the top 2 will battle it out for the ultimate win, and a title shot at Summer Spectacular!

Gimli hits a powerbomb on Boko right away, but only gets a two count. @XIII_rocks slaps Bryan, but then gets bored. @Strife2 hits a big splash on Ludwig, but Ludwig rolls away before he can do it again. Strife throws him into the barricade instead! Zangief and Iskandar are having a hoss fight, and Zangief has the upper hand with a big slam. Zangief eliminates Iskandar with a Jackhammer, advancing to the Bottom! Legolas has @ScareChan in an abdominal stretch. Legolas releases the move, and kicks Scare a few times...but Scare whips him into the barricade and hits Days Like This! Scare wrestles Legolas to the floor, but Legolas outmaneuvers and mounts. Legolas eliminates Scare with a knee drop to the temple, advancing to the Bottom! Goldberg is locking up with @TheSultanOfSlam , and knees him in the face after powering him down to his knees. Sultan shakes it off, only to eat a clothesline. Goldberg attempts a Jackhammer, but Sultan is able to slip out. Goldberg settles for a jab to the head, and then spears an official by accident! Sultan, seeing his chance, whacks Goldberg with a chair! Sadly there's nobody there to count a pin. Bang executes a simple Monkey Flip on Rocky, but charges into a powerslam. Bryan drives by with a Knee Plus on Rocky, then Bang hits the Big Bang, eliminating Rocky and advancing to the Bottom!

@IhatethisCPU
DJ Reverb accidentally whacks Liv Morgan with a record, allowing Flair to almost pin her! But he also breaks up the pin, so it evens out I guess. Cena is welcoming Beato to B8WL with some shots to the head, but wanders elsewhere instead of going for the pin. @XIII_rocks has a bit of an upper hand on @davidponte . Bowser hits a Hip Drop on M. Bison....but Bison hits back with a Psycho Crusher! Bowser shoves Bison away and bails. @Panthera lands a nice dropkick on @eaedwards6400 , but Eaed escapes a followup leglock. The Phantom Thieves show up and get in a brawl with the Time Cops, throwing Eaed off his game! Panth capitalizes with a suplex, getting a two-count. Sunset flip! Panth pins eaed, advancing to the Bottom!

In the Bottom ring, Zangief is manhandling Legolas, but Legolas' speed advantage is keeping him alive. Legolas hits a flurry of strikes and a flying head scissors! He follows with a standing moonsault for a two count. Joker runs in on Bang, but Bang chucks him back out to the floor. XIII at ringside grabs Panth's foot, which is not the most legal move, but hey, neither was Phantom Thief interference. This allows Bang to hit a high angle suplex to eliminate Panth and advance to the Middle!

Back to the Floor, Gimli is chasing Boko around, and then eventually catches him and tackles him to the mat. Cena DDTs Bryan, but again lacks the interest to try for a pin. Ludwig gets a leglock applied on Strife, and then follows it with a stomp to the head. Strife recovers and catches Ludwig into an F5! Sultan and Goldberg are still brawling, and pulling every heel brawling trick in the book on each other. Sultan is getting the upper hand in a dirty fight, so Goldberg decides to take him down and wrestle on the ground. Flair is trying to eliminate Liv, but she just won't stay down. Bowser obliterates Beato with a Whirling Fortress, them eliminates her with a Rack Attack, advancing to the Bottom! XIII has an upper hand on david, but Cena pulls him into an AA! 2 count. Cena grounds and pounds...then eliminates XIII with a 5-Knuckle Shuffle, advancing to the Bottom! The ref chews Bison out for poking david in the eye, and David slams him! Bison battles back and shares a few choice names for his foe. Bison eliminates david with a Psycho Crusher, advancing to the Bottom!

For those of you playing the home game, the current situation is:
Top: Nobody (first two are the finalists)
Middle: Bang
Bottom: Zangief, Legolas, Bowser, Cena
Floor: Gimli, Boko, Strife, Bryan, Ludwig, Sultan, Goldberg, Flair, Liv, Bison

Zangief slips behind Legolas with surprising speed, and elbows him in the back of the head. Bowser shows up with a backdrop to cut off Zangief's momentum. The Koopa Klan storm the ring....and Cueto shows up to DQ Bowser! That does not count as a win for Zangief, who immediately finds himself on the receiving end of a Gutbuster from Cena. Zangief dodges a Five-Knuckle Shuffle and suplexes Cena, but Cena's right back up. Legolas Chop Blocks Zangief and Cena eliminates Zangief with the AA, advancing to the middle!

And I did not in fact get this done before family stuff so I'll bbl :|

Top/Finals: ???, ???
Middle: Bang, Cena
Bottom: Legolas, Bison
Floor: Gimli, Boko, Strife, Bryan, Ludwig, Sultan, Goldberg, Flair, Liv

Gimli suplexes Boko for a two count. Bryan hits Strife with a Kneebuster, but Strife whips him into the ring steps. Both are down, but Bryan is up first, hops onto the apron, and hits a running dive! Strife is knocked down, but uses the leverage to vault Bryan over his head, so it's hard to say who's the worst off from the exchange. Strife hits an elbow drop, but Bryan rallies the fans and his energy, and recovers enough to kick Strife a few times. Ludwig is wandering around and adds in a dropkick of his own for funsies. This was perhaps a mistake, as Strife simply throws Ludwig into Bryan! Bryan ducks a running kick from Strife and takes him down from behind, but Strife just rolls through to end up on top. Sultan shoves a ref after a slow count, and gets tossed out of the match! Flair is choking out Liv while the ref counts to 5. Goldberg eliminates Ludwig with a Jackhammer, advancing to the Bottom!

Bang and Cena are going at it in the Middle Tier....and Bang piledrives him! Bang hooks the leg and the jorts....and pins Cena to become the first finalist! On the bottom, Goldberg and Bison are trying to doubleteam Legolas, but Legolas is putting up a valiant fight. Starting to look grim after he catches a Goldberg dropkick, though. Out on the floor, we've still got six people trying to stay relevant. Boko slams Gimli. Strife peels up some padding and DDTs Bryan on the bare floor, but that still only gets two. Liv starts to build some momentum with a series of strikes on Flair, hitting faster than the veteran can react. Flair shakes it off and returns fire with a Bionic Elbow....and socks her with a roll of quarters from his tights! Slow cover, and he only gets 2.

Top/Finals: Bang, ???
Middle: Empty
Bottom: Bison, Legolas, Goldberg
Floor: Gimli, Boko, Strife, Bryan, Flair, Liv

Legolas is having some success chain wrestling Goldberg as Bison watches and waits. Gimli tackles Boko, but Boko digs deep and is right back up. Gimli hits some forearm shots and tries a suplex, but can't quite manage it. Liv and Flair have now teamed up on Strife a bit...but he hits Liv with a trash can and then chucks it at Flair's head! Strife focuses on Liv while Bryan hits a moonsault on the woozy Flair. La Magistral only gets 2, and so does a full nelson suplex. Goldberg shakes off some of Legolas' best stuff. Gimli does a (rather unimpressive) Banzai Drop on Boko. Mario tries to come to Boko's aid, but is held back by refs. (rather easily, given his injured state) He does manage to distract Gimli for a second though, and Boko takes the initiative as they brawl up the ramp. Boko launches Gimli into the barricade! Liv hits Sister Abigail on Strife, dang! She tries for a second one, but Strife powers out and suplexes her. Flair stumbles in between them and eats signatures from both.

Legolas and Goldberg are STILL going, and Bison and Bang are heckling each other while they wait. Mario breaks free long enough to Mushroom Stomp Gimli! Boko pins Gimli with the Boko Bomb to advance to the bottom! Gimli ain't happy about that one. Liv's taking the fight to Strife, while Flair is desperately surviving Bryan's onslaught. Flair pulls off the ol' beg-for-mercy sucker punch!

Bison welcomes Boko to the ring structure with a Scissors Kick for a near fall. Boko holds the ropes to get a break. SPEAR on Legolas! 1....2.....3! Goldberg advances to the top ring! Tough luck for Bison, Boko, Bryan, Liv, Strife, and Flair!

The fateful showdown commences: Heel Bang v. Heel Goldberg for a shot at Heel Austin (fresh off a defense against Heel Kora)! Booking!

Goldberg launches Bang into the corner, but Bang dodges a spear, and Goldberg rams the post. Sunset Flip! 1.....2....3!

Winner: Bangladesh DuPree

YMD come out to celebrate, with Bison notably absent.

You may nominate three more celebs to go on the list!

SHOW 2-19
Mario hosts
Strife v. Zangief
Both had fairly decent runs at Pyramid War...can either build further momentum?

Bryan v. Goldberg
Goldberg took second place, but that won't do him much good, particularly against the always-dangerous Bryan!

Cena+Scare+Eddv v. MLMF (Truth/Bowser/Ludwig)
The numbers game is getting better for Team Cena, but can they trust Eddv's sense of vengeance?

Kora v. Flair v. XIII
Kora has a right to be upset about his title match, but he'll have to settle his frustrations with Flair (representing Austin) and XIII (representing Bang) instead!

Boko v. Legolas
Gimli is not at all happy with Mario's involvement in his elimination at Pyramid War, and has requested Boko in a Cage Match for Summer Spectacular! But for tonight, Boko will warm up against Legolas, who had a similarly strong showing at the Pyramid.

GRUDGE/LOSER LEAVES STABLE/UCA: Bang (c) v. Bison
It appears that the power couple of UCA has come to an explosive end! Mysteries abound, but we do know that tonight, one of them will walk away UCA champ, and the other will walk away from YMD. But is all this keeping Bang from focusing on her B8WL Title opportunity?

SHOW 2-20
GRUDGE: Bang+XIII v. Panth+Joker

SHOW 2-21: SUMMER SPECTACULAR
GRUDGE: Liv v. Zangief
CAGE: Gimli v. Boko
B8WL: Austin (c) v. Bang

FUTURE
IRONMAN: Mario/Boko v. Eddv/Maniac
Mario v. Maniac
HARDCORE: Mario v. Bang

You, Kora, Zangief, and Liv who is definitely not planning to backstab you at some point

BTW I track stables on the roster tab of the sheet if anybody else wants refreshers, ever since about the fifth time I mixed up the Knights with YMD

Yep Liv fighting Zangief definitely does not show any cracks in our group.

We just have to work some things out internally through a public fight. Its cool.

back to the other games circuit!

Flury Hardball: National Division kicks off the second block of matches.
ATL (2-2) and PHI (2-2) split. ATL's Breazeale improves running slightly (which won't currently help him as a fielder, but y'never know what weirdness might happen)
CIN (2-2) and STL (2-2) split in a pair of shutout/walkoff games
SF (2-2) and PIT (2-2) split. SF's leader hitter Khatib becomes less OP at hitting, and there was a big brawl in game 1.

Oddly, this is the exact same pattern as the first block for the National Division: two series where the home team always won, and the visitors won both games in the last series.
