Basically, they're openly telling users to agree to let them live-examine their phone's front facing cameras, copy their contacts list, and other stuff we suspected. But to have a company bold-face tell you that they're doing it is....wow. I don't see this going well for Instagram or their parent Facebook.

The contact list is so that you add people in your contacts you may not know have an IG that have their number linked to it This is common with a lot of other apps such as Google Duo, What's App, Snapchat, etc..I can explain the camera one but it will take longer but blame Android phones for that but once again it's nothing bad.

Hey so since you bought our TV I just want to let you know we reserve the right to walk in through your front door at any time you're not home and go through your underwear drawers
