I don't know what the hell happened over the past month. Maybe everyone got complacent or something?
Either way, we're hitting new peaks, every country is shutting down any travel to/from us. It's so bad that my colleagues were talking about how their children can't visit for christmas due to train closures from London to Scotland. I think it has more to do with the UK government claiming to have found a new strain of Covid that spreads faster. Yeah largely seems because of the new mutation found rather than anything else. Likely caused by people being complacent and opening up too much
