But for some reason I'm getting into Zeo as an adult.

I'm trying to have an open mind and I'm rewatching the series and I find myself hooked.

Zeo is leagues better.

This. As a kid I stopped watching at Zeo because it "just wasn't the same" But it was a lot better, and I rewatched it as a teen and enjoyed it more than the original.

Even without subtitles if you don't understand Japanese, the Zyuranger series that Power Rangers was based on was leagues better as well.

I believe I watched up to Galaxy when I nope out. In space was the last one I liked but yeah Zeo is tied at the top with the Original MMPR for me.

I loved PR as a kid and I didn't know Zeo existed until a friend showed me 5 or 6 years ago. I'm not sure how I missed that. I lost interest after Wild Force.

It was the they needed water to live and morph thing mostly. Felt like they were just looking for water every episode.

Zeo is second best of the Zordon Era after In Space. Most people are too nostalgic for MMPR though.

rewatched a couple of years ago and got through to (I think) light speed rescue , then stopped

Yeah that's when I stopped watching. Hated turbo.

Plenty of great seasons worth suffering through Turbo for. Also Elgar's occasionally funny, even moreso when they randomly switch to Sentai footage and absolutely no one seems to notice his head gets squished.
Been going through the series for the better part of a year, currently on Dino Charge.

Eh, I don't know about that one. I like Zyuranger, but outside of the Burai plot it was pretty mediocre.

Zyu handled the magic-related plots better, but the characters were even flatter than in season 1.

Zeo was one of the best seasons. It and In Space were the series at the top of their game.

Lost Galaxy was also good, and Time Force was a personal favorite, but I stopped caring afterwards.

MMPR is still a fucking classic, though -- I might go watch an episode right now, tbh.

I initially stopped during Wild Force, came back for SPD, and dropped off again at Dino Thunder. Tried watching Neo-Saban but the acting has declined so much. I've been collecting the dvd sets (Sentai too). Just missing Operation Overdrive (considering it), and Jungle Fury.

Zeo was fun

The acting has always been Power Rangers' weakest point. Voice overs are always way better than on-camera stuff for some reason though. And the villains are almost always on point.

They saw that their other show, big bad beetleborgs was doing so well, so for some reason, thought having a kid would make PR just as good.
