I watched Empire first. And Return of the Jedi yesterday. I'm not going in an order that makes sense beyond whatever I'm feeling at the time.

This entire beginning space battle is actually pretty cool. And I mean everything up to them landing on Coruscant.

Revenge of the Sith is actually probably my second favorite Star Wars movie with Empire Strikes Back as the first.

It's definitely among my favorites. Something about it is just fun. Even when it's bad, it's still kind of hilariously so.

Oh and there's a genuine chemistry here between Obi-Wan and Anakin. I truly think it's really the dialogue sometimes why this movie gets a bad rap.

LOL Hayden Christensen has some fun moments in this.

Obi-Wan: "This time we'll do it together."

Anakin: *leans over and whispers in Obi-Wan's ear* "....I was about to say that."

You know...I'll say it. Hayden is actually really good in this. He has this Dark Jedi kind of vibe, but is only barely containing it.

It's really the romantic lines where it just sounds awkward.

I wish Grievous was even an ounce as cool as he was in either Clone Wars TV show. I would have liked to see him survive maybe a bit longer and start slaughtering no-name Jedi left and right before taking on Obi-Wan.

You know...the reason this scene is so fun is because the 3 most fun characters in the movie (Anakin, Obi-Wan and Palpatine) are all in it together.

The thought of Palpatine sitting in his office, turning off the lights, and putting on a hood as he prepares to do dark shit is hilarious to me.

I always felt that Hayden playing wooden was all on purpose because it was the best way to play a guy who grew up with stunted emotional ability. He was taught to be like this but he's fighting against all of it which is why I felt that his sudden change to the dark side is that much better.

Its like he showed who he really was....since acting like someone you're not is pretty tough but the guy was an emotional rollercoaster through and through.

I feel people misunderstand the scene where he actually turns to the dark side.

That silent scene with Anakin and Padre? That was Anakin thinking. By the time he got there, he already made his choice. All the appeals to the "Jedi way" were just an attempt to bargain for Palpatine's life.

Hayden Christensen really pulls off young Anakin well here and the trio of him, Palpatine and Obi-Wan really carry this movie.

Yeah I don't like Yoda as much here as in the Original Trilogy. I know he was supposed to be a little older there, but Yoda was a lot kookier and it was kind of fun. Plus, Yoda doesn't feel as wise.

Clone Wars Yoda is fantastic though.

Honestly, it could be being a hermit which had made him like that. He was alone for some time but lol I honestly wish they would have made that a character quirk as a whole.

Yeah. Yoda doesn't feel like as much of a full-fledged character here. Even if the intention was that the hermit lifestyle kinda drove him crazy, I think he should have still been kinda crazy here.

Say what you will about the "I HATE YOU!" line.

Hayden fucking nailed it. That was pure, animalistic, raw rage that we have never seen from Vader. His is more controlled and tempered. But of course, the younger him is completely untamed.

My sis SWORE Anakin said, I HAD TO! instead and I kinda wish he did. Yelling, I had to try and save Padme! is too much but just screaming I HAD TO fits so well because of the whole destiny angle. He was SUPPOSED to fall but nobody saw that part of the prophecy in time.

Plus, it kind of fits with Yodas Do or do not. There is no try.
